Please pray for those families at Fort Hood who suffered losses yesterday. My Daughter and Son in Law were both there and locked down, but they are safe. These families have some tough days ahead, please keep them in your prayers.

Add those families in Orlando, Florida to the list. What is this world coming to?

Patricia, first, I am happy to hear your family is safe! It’s a tragedy and especially since many of these people have been to and returned from war zones. Home is supposed to be ¨safe¨. From some of what I read, authorities knew this guy was revolting and basically about to lose-it, if you will. There should have been some action taken based on what they knew he was doing and saying. Seems we always do too little, too late.

Prayers indeed, but then we should always be praying for Americans who put on those uniforms everyday; they are all on a mission to keep Americans safe. I especially have hopes for their families, but on a base like that they all become family so the whole of Ft. Hood is affected. I wish them a speedy recovery to their normal military life.

I copied this from my Daughters page, to show how they pull together.

the next few days are going to be tough here at Fort Hood, but the community has pulled together. First responders were awesome and the Darnall Hospital staff stepped up - ONE TEAM! Not down playing anyone cause everyone here played an important role in keeping everyone safe and secure

I find it unbelievable that 2 of our local forums have deleted the request for prayers for our soldiers and families!

You know that you and your family are always in our prayers. So happy that y'all are ok. God Bless America, and her citizens/armed forces.
